Thanks for stopping by, Tim & Andy! I agree, good computers never die... And usually the interest in good computers doesn't either, no matter how old they are.

I keep hearing from people that have just recently obtained either the NEC PC-8201A or the PC-8300 from companies that were offloading them. It seems that a lot of new people are just discovering these little machines, and what they're capable of. And, there's a TON of software out there for them. I'll add more to my file library as time permits..

For now, take care everyone!

Great site, Gary!

I, too, had a TRS-80 Model 100 and a couple of 8201A's, including floppy drive + video-out adapter. I still have the NECs! I remember spending many hours disassembling the ROM. You can check out my portable computer collection at http://www.redwoodhouse.com/wearable/pict.html

Casual collector and user of old computers. Especially fond of and own Tandy Model 100, 102, 200; NEC PC-8300; Tandy WP-2; Osborne Executive and host of other computers my wife calls junk. :)

One reason I like the NEC PC-8300 and Tandy Model Ts is the user groups are helpful, interesting and fun.

Always looking for add-ons from my NEC PC-8300.

Welcome, fellow retrocomputing enthusiasts!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope the content and downloads I've provided here will be of some use to you. If you're looking for further information on the internet about your machine and their close relatives, be sure to look at the "Support Resources" and "Links" areas of this site.

I would encourage everyone to subscribe to the Club 100 Mailing List, available through http://www.the-dock.com/club100.html. This is a great way to keep in touch with other users of NEC machines, as well as the TRS-80 Model 100 community.

Take care everyone,
Gary
