| Hi Mike,
I am just listening to you chat with a Canadian (VA1IVY) station. I looked you up on QRZ and decided to check out your webpage. Such a nice site! It's so very friendly. I would have called you on air, but I'm only running 2.5 W to a vertical and thought that if you heard me at all I would be more of an annoyance to you than anything else. Your audio sounds superb! Again, thanks for the nice website. May God bless you and yours. 73 de Tom K2TFS | |

Can we make an arrangement to chat ?? Maybe we could meet at some booth such as Stepir or others ? Please email me at billmaynard@mac.com to see if we may connect.

| Mike, I have a IC-7000 and a High Sierra "screw driver" antenna on my vehicle, a 2007 GMC SUV. When I don't want to get the antenna messed up in snow or rain etc, I take the antenna off of the brass mount and put it in my vehicle. It was today that I was listening on 20 meters (with out the antenna only the brass stub)and your signal was the only one I heard on the whole 20 meter band. Of course your signal came in and out as I was driving but to hear any signal on just that brass stub and all the way from NC to Utah, is almost unbelievable! Some day I would like to talk to you on the air. I can go mobile, or I have a station that runs about 600 watts and 5 elements at about 72 feet. I have a picture of my antenna at my house on QRZ.com. Thought you would like to hear how well you signal was getting out.
