| Mike,
Thanks for taking the time to stop and chat. I enjoyed meeting you on the air and your family through the website. I took your advice and adjusted the ALC on my 02 as you suggested. Thanks. Hopefully the propagation gods will prevail and we'll be able to talk again. Happy Thanksgiving, Tom, KL7TF

| Very nice web-page , I enjoyed looking at the pictures , and as most amateurs ,I can only dream about the space you have to put up your antenna's !
My QTH-antenna is a simple dipole antenna , but I want to put on the roof a slim-jim for 6m , since it + 5 or +6 dB , but the transmit angle is very low , ideal for DX-work . Meanwhile I found out that 6m really falls on your roof , it is there or not ! It was nice working you at 50.110 MHz , as sudden as the band opened up , as sudden as it closed down , but we had a nice QSO ! | Hello Mike,
I just admired your QSK mod for the HF-2500. I have aquired one (serial number 339) and used it in this week end's WAE CW contest with good results. Using this amp with real QSK would be perfect for me - would appreciate if you could send me the diagram. Regards from Munich, Gerd.

| Hi from North Epping, Australia. A pleasure to talk to you Mike, the conditions must be excellent as I am running a 50ft bit of wire, tuned by a AH-4 @ 100W. The rig is a icom 756 and you are still able to hear me. I have been told it will get better before it gets worse ;) Many thanks, Mark VK2HMC. | |

Hi Mike, I am writing to you about the BHI-NEAM which I have had since 12/2011. Points I am not happy with. The Piezo sounder is inadequate, granted my right ear suffers from frequency discrimination, i.e. when the test signal approaches 1500 plus cycles, it disappears. The left ear is a lot better; increasing the sounder level [P3] provides a weak improvement, basically an on/off function. Any ideas on increasing the sounder level would be appreciated. My rig is a TenTec Omni 6 + offers speaker and headset output. There are times I would rather listen using the speaker with the AENM, then use the HS with AENM when operating. Although the NEAM does not offer selectable ‘audio out’ i.e. headset or speaker, I think I can modify with this option, by adding an additional audio out jack and a toggle switch, for selection of the SP or PH. Great website, 73 Ken / W1IRQ
