gabinet stomatologiczny kraków I too knew Fr. Moran but only on the air. I was operating as EP2DI/Teheran , Iran, 1977-78. I passed some welfare traffic from the local catholic priest to 'MORAN" and had many conversations with him and an invitation to come to Kathmandu, didn't get to go, but later friends from Saudi Arabia (I lived there too) visited Nepal and at my suggestion attempted to look him up--he was on a visit elsewhere but the mere mention of his name opened many doors making their visit special. My special interest today is in the coax length, exciter to MLA 2500B. Good stuff, thanks alot, Gary.

| Hi,
I heard you last night (14,250 khz, 25 June 2010, 0317 GMT) while camping, lying flat on my back in a tent, with a portable Sangean ATS 909 shortwave receiver and just a 5 foot wire strung across inside my tent. You were quite strong, almost armchair copy, for almost an hour. Not a ham (yet), just a shortwave listener. Camping in Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin, USA. You had an amazing signal! Best, Robin

| Hi Bill
Happy to see that you also have a homepage, with fantastic pictures!!! This morning, our local time, you had a beautiful signal over here! As you heard, i used an Icom 706MkIIG, and a 20m hamstick. I was only running abt 60W, due to a faulty power-supply, (25Amp radioshack) That radio isn't mine either, but my dear friend Dave's kc2qxa, who became SK x-mas day, last year. Long story, but hes wife asked me to take care of them, till she decided what to do with all the equipment. Her call is kc2rhq, and has decided to upgrade her licens, so you might run into her on the bands some day ;-) Well Bill, all the best from us over here, and if you are on facebook, look me and my wife up, Kay Kvant, since she's the one with the account LOL Take care, Lars

| Hi Mike,
mni tnx fer the nice QSO , my 1st with East coast and my 2nd with USA. So far I can not use my big antennas at my 40m tower for 2 reasons: 1. My shack is still under construction 2. I had a thunderstorm flash right into the tower a few days b4, and the tuning stub of my 2 ele 40m beam broke. Maybe also the antenna switch and rotor are on fail. Don't know, as I still have not use it and also cables are without plugs. So lets hope that my 10,15,20m beam is still ok and that I can rotate it! Otherwise I still must use my YP-3 beam, cry. So thats it from NE Thailand . Greatings to all of you at that beautiful farm and good luck with your big antenna Mike. 73 de Helmut

My rig includes an Icom 7800, pw-1, Commander 2500 and a 40/20 Optibeam duiobander on a 50 feet boom @ 80 feet. Its a great setup and works just fine. I've just ordered a Flexs 5000C and wonder if a 77SX might be a good companion amp.
