| Hello Graeme. Just wanted to say Hello. I am the kid that worked with you at the City Hall in Newcastle on the Yes Relayer Tour. I travelled down to Scotch Corner in your truck and helped to get the gear set up for a Yorkshire Television shoot. We then met up in Bristol for the same show and Richard jammed my finger in a taxi door. Paul McMIllan | |

| Just got a 'Fairport' e-letter through & overjoyed to read that the superb 'Home Service' are reforming for 2011. Cannot wait - if there's anything on in Surrey let's get our Morris Team whetting appetites in the foyer!! Before even my Morris days I was watching 'Gryphon' as support at 'The Marquee' Wardour Street! An album from the original line up planned? My life could be complete!! | |

| Saw Grapes of Wrath at Chichester and pondered whether it might be yourself? I enjoyed the music, and it made me blow the dust off Boomers Story, a complimentary reference.
I had the pleasure of playing with you a couple of times 1978 at the 'Cock' in North End Rd Fulham in a band that included Malcolm (NT Despatches) on bass. I am pleased to find that you are still making fine music. Dave Royce

| Hi folks,
Yes I agree, what a concert!! Was in the front row and got some great photos even without any flash. I agree about "Midnight Mushrumps" and if the band had any doubts about the why they should do the gig then I think that the reaction prior to, and after "Midnight Mushrumps" said it all, don't you??!! The whole gig was beyond words but for me Ethelion raised the hairs on the back of my neck. Eduardo (Mota) asked if I could do a review of the gig and I am compiling this at present. We also had authorisation to take some photos as well, so once everything has been given the "okay" by the band members (only right to do this as it is really copyright material etc.) then everything will be sent to Eduardo to put onto the web site. BTW, GT, can't get through on your email or fax numbers. Thanks for the chat after the gig as well and for signing the CD covers. Kindest regards Richard Akehurst

Neil, I know what you mean about tears during Midnight Mushrumps.. it's spine tingling stuff, so exquisitely delicate... It used to transport me when I was a teenager and it still does. Think I'll go listen again now... I envy you who were there! Kindest regards Barry Smith Sevilla Spain barrysmithyes@yahoo.es

| just want to say such a big thank you for the most wonderful show gryphon put on last saturday.I have been to many a gig in my time but don't think i have ever been in an audience where there was so much antisipation and ultimatly such a wonderful feeling of musical realisation. With the first notes of midnihgt mushies i was transported back to my youth and i am not ashamed to say that a rather large tear came to the eye and speaking to total strangers after i was not alone.I do so hope that the work the band put in will result in more shows and hopefully more material, there is nothing out there like gryphon and never was.bravo.regards to rolf. | |

| Hi Chris T
I've just checked amazon.co.uk and they've got some Gryphon albums available. I share your feelings entirely on the band. Red Queen is still one of the most colourful, original, musical, and goddam honest-to-goodness entertaining albums I've ever heard. Love them to death. Kind regards to all Barry Smith..fabs welcome to write and let's talk Gryphon, folks!

| Hi, I have been looking at all the Gryphon sites I can find after talking to Brian at a gig he did with the New Scorpion Band at Halstock in Dorset. As soon as I heard him play I new it was him! I came over all simpering with excitment and even asked him for an autograph. I last saw Gryphon in 1974 at the Albert Hall supporting Steeleye Span. I went off and bought all the albums. Of course, I cannot play them on the accursed new technology because they are all vinal! Can you help? Bloody hell, just thinking about another Gryphon gig makes me wet my pants. Please do it.
Kind regards, CJT. | |

| How lovely to find you and your site! Just got a re-release of Red Queen to Gryphon Three, which I went looking for about 5 years ago, and could only find imports at outrageous prices.
Something made me check recently, and I now hold a copy in my hands which led me to your site. Can't tell you how much this record meant to me (and a lovely young lady friend) the year it came out. It was all we listened to. Don't know where she is anymore, but I'm glad I found YOU! Thanks for the music.

| Blimey, seems an age ago I first saw Gryphon as support at The Marquee, Wardour Street. It was!
Hippily playing 'Red Queen to Gryphon Three' bedecked in 'Loons' amidst a girlfriend's plethora of 'Yes' albums. Thought it impressed her ... wonder where she is now?! Why not - get it on, Gents - long awaited return of the rock bassoon! Trying to think what medieval stuff our Morris Team can adapt to - singing 'The Astrologer' or 'The Ploughboy's Dream' is all I can come up with now! Not Kemp's Jig - too far, too long! Greetings here from sunny Leatherhead! Rgrds, Ted Smith

| I'm so excited about the upcoming Gryphon-concert that I can hardly speak! I just hope it'll be announced some time before the concert, since booking cheap airplane-tickets from Norway isn't easy for a poor student at a short notice..
But as Barry Smith mentioned: I'll crawl through broken glass to get to London, and I hope your new album will meet my sky-high expectations, he-he-he. (By the way, a fan-meet of some sort would be exciting! Count me inn!) Greetings from the rainy west coast of Norway -Daniel -dkalvo@gmail.com
